Felipe Trujillo López has been named as the Vice President of Commercial and Marketing, effective immediately. Trujillo, an industrial engineer with extensive experience in commercial and marketing positions, will oversee the commercialization and trading of fuels and petrochemicals produced by Ecopetrol in its refineries.

Victoria Irene Sepúlveda Ballesteros has been appointed as the Corporate Vice President of Human Resources. With nearly 20 years of experience in administrative and human management positions, Sepúlveda brings valuable expertise in human talent and union relations in the energy sector.

María Cristina Toro Restrepo will join Ecopetrol as the Legal Vice President, starting on May 7, 2024. With 28 years of experience in the industry, Toro Restrepo has held various high-level legal positions in prominent energy companies in Colombia.

Additionally, Alberto Enrique Consuegra Granger, the current Chief Operating Officer, will continue to serve in his role until May 10, 2024. Rafael Guzmán, the current President of Hocol, will take over as the acting COO starting May 11, 2024.
