PALO ALTO, Calif. & TBILISI, Georgia – 500 Global, a renowned venture capital firm, has unveiled its plans to launch the 500 Global in Eurasia Accelerator Program, in collaboration with Georgia’s Innovation and Technology Agency (GITA) and Bank of Georgia. The program aims to identify, select, and support tech startups with exceptional potential across the Eurasia region.

“We have been working closely with GITA for many years to establish Georgia as a thriving hub for entrepreneurship. Through our partnership, we have successfully trained over 70 companies from 10 countries and brought in top-notch speakers and members of the global VC community,” said Pedro Santos Vieira, Partner at 500 Global in Eurasia. He emphasized the importance of the close collaboration with GITA and Bank of Georgia in their mission to strengthen the Georgian entrepreneurial ecosystem and uplift the regional economy.

As part of the program, selected startups will undergo an intensive course led by 500 Global, focusing on customer development, growth marketing, and other essential business foundations. Participating companies will have the opportunity to enhance key metrics critical for scaling and fundraising. The program will culminate in a Demo Day where the startups will showcase their ventures.

The sixth batch of the 500 Global Accelerator Program in Georgia comprises nine tech startups from six different countries. The selected companies offer a diverse range of innovations, including Clustr, an investment platform for web3 users; YAYA, a platform granting access to various kids’ centers; and KatalistAI, a company that turns messages into videos using generative AI, among others.

Bank of Georgia, as a leading tech company in the region, is committed to fostering tech initiatives and nurturing the startup ecosystem. Levan Gomshiashvili, Chief Marketing, Digital and CX Officer at Bank of Georgia, expressed his enthusiasm for the collaboration with 500 Global and GITA, highlighting their role in empowering Georgian and regional startups and providing them with the resources and support needed for their growth.
